Inspired by the 80s and named after the birth year of our founders, the M89 Icon is our most emblematic silhouette. Now reimagined in Lignify an innovative plant-based leather alternative made from upcycled lignin waste. A timeless essential now with even more substance behind its style.

Unisex retro sneakers.
Made with Lignify an innovative plant-based leather alternative made from upcycled lignin waste.
Interior: soft bamboo and recycled PET, from post-consumer plastic waste. Reinforced with microfiber for added durability, ensuring long-lasting wear and support.
Insoles crafted with recycled EVA foam.
We fund the growth of four trees for each pair of sneakers sold.
Ethically made in Portugal.
Our packaging is 100% recyclable.

All unused products can be returned within 30 days*, excluding socks and the cleaning kit. You can choose between an exchange or refund.

INSOLES

We’ve improved the insole with a softer, more cushioned base. Made from recycled foam sourced from mattress industry waste.In addition, we’ve reinforced the heel area to prevent fabric wear and provide better support for your foot.
NEW LOGO DETAILS

The M89 Icon now features our logo embossed on the sole a subtle signature that leaves a mark with every step. We’ve also updated the tongue tag for a more minimal, considered look that reflects SAYE’s design evolution.
LACES

Now made with certified organic cotton and finished with a subtle SAYE logo a detail that elevates both design and intention.
NEW BOX

Our sneakers now arrive in a box made from 100% recycled cardboard redesigned with SAYE footprints as a reminder that every step leaves a trace, so let’s make it count.

Every pair now comes with a hangtag that shares SAYE’s overall environmental impact and traceability journey.
