Together with Carlos Roca we have created this editorial on the Casa Orgánica with the intention of expressing the values we have in common with this beautiful architectural work.
The Casa Orgánica is the culminating work of Mexican architect Javier Senosiaín, and represents a sustainable retreat in complete harmony with nature. This project takes into account the origin of human beings in nature and its historical background.
Located on the outskirts of Mexico City, in the town of Naucalpan, as the architect mentions, this construction is a metaphor for the maternal womb or an animal shelter where the human being feels safe and protected inside. This principle aligns perfectly with SAYE’s philosophy where we carefully craft pieces of clothing and footwear that are both respectful to the environment and those who wear them.
Carlos Roca is a photographer and filmmaker whose work is primarily focused on fashion, with a documentary storytelling approach, where his main references come from documentary photography.
